Family Building Company is proud to partner with buyer representatives. Simple and clear:

We offer Buyer Agents a 2.5% commission on the contract price for ALL home sales where Family Building Co is the seller. (See: AVAILABLE HOMES)

We do NOT offer compensation to Seller subagents.

Our Buyer Agent compensation is Seller-paid, not a cooperative compensation from the Listing Firm.

At-cost add-ons (increasing purchase price to finance closing costs, appliances, fences, etc as part of our First-Time Homebuyers Program) do not pay extra commissions to the agent.
Ex. On a $250K home, the buyer adds a $2,000 fridge making it a $252K home - commission is paid on the $250K sale amount.

On off-market Build-For-Hire transactions, where a land owner hires us to build a home on their property, we offer a flat Buyer Agent commission of $5,000 per unit. See AGENTS/INVESTORS for more details.

Our offer of compensation is without regard to the compensation that a buyer and their agent have negotiated.

Buyer agents who charge more than our offered commission may collect the balance owed from their client.

Buyer agents who charge less than our offered commission may rebate excess the commission to their client or seek permission to accept an increased commission.

Please be aware that our listings carry a variable commission rate. When we sell a home to an unrepresented buyer, the Listing Agent receives an extra 1% commission for their extra effort instead of a 2.5% Buyer Agent commission.
